About

Get to know the person behind the practice.

Hey, I’m Jess :)

Most of the people I work with are carrying more than anyone around them would guess. They are capable and thoughtful, often the person everyone else leans on, and quietly worn down by how much effort it takes to keep that up.

I became a therapist because I do not think that has to be the trade-off for being someone who copes. Therapy is not about being fixed, and it is not about being talked out of what you feel. It is time to set things down and look at them honestly, with someone who does not need you to be okay.

A space where you can show up as you are and figure out where you want to go.

You do not need to arrive with a diagnosis, a tidy explanation, or the right language for any of it. Plenty of people start by saying they are not sure why they are here, only that something has felt off for a while.

Bring whatever is actually on your mind. We will work out the rest together, at a pace that belongs to you rather than to anyone else's timeline.

Who I work with

Finding your footing

I work with adults who are:

  • Navigating anxiety and OCD
  • Living with ADHD or suspected ADHD
  • Dealing with life transitions
  • Breaking free from people-pleasing
  • Struggling with comparison culture
  • Building authentic confidence

Ideal client?

You might be a good fit if you are overwhelmed and still getting everything done, because that is what you do. If the things that used to keep you steady have stopped working. If you have been handling this on your own for a long time and you are done doing it alone.

The name

Why Arrive

You have probably spent a lot of energy trying to get somewhere: less anxious, more productive, more like the person you think you should be by now. The name means the opposite of that.

Arriving is showing up as you already are, before the improvements, and finding that someone stays in the room. That tends to be the harder thing. It is also where the work actually starts.

What you can expect

A wooden boardwalk running level into the trees, its far end curving out of sight

Therapy with me is collaborative. I'm not here to nod silently while you talk (though I'm a great listener). I'm here for real conversations about what you're going through, what's working, and what's not.

  • A judgement-free space where you can be yourself
  • Evidence-based tools that actually work
  • Real talk, not clinical jargon
  • Support in building a life that feels authentic, not performed
